The text of I-505 is largely the same as Sensible Washington‘s I-1149. Some even say it was co-opted.
The only problem I see with this petition is it actually getting on the ballot to begin with. I personally like this initiative but don’t think it has the backing that it needs to succeed. I will sign the petition though and hope that we can vote for two legalization measures in 2012!
